Witchy & Trixy Things!

Fall Harvest Plate

Hello Dearies!

I hope you are all getting geared up and excited for the wonderful Halloween weekend coming our way. If you still need some help with this, I hope you will stop by The Urbanite where the wonderful Trix of Tasty Trix has featured my Spooky Blue Mash and Garlic Seared Brussels Sprouts along with some other super fabulous and witchy recipes...

Oh, and Brussels Sprouts done in this style will convert almost any hater of this cabbage family plant *wink*!

Also, Dearies, Nancy of Spicie Foodie announced this week that she will be holding a monthly roundup of everyone's best recipes. Be sure to submit yours by October 30 for this month!

If you are interested in the roundup, click here.

Oh, and to all of my lovelies who doted upon me with awards this week or who tagged me (smile), I will catch up to doing a post on this soon. I just started a new job today, and I've got a date with my pillow right now!

Be good, Dearies *wink*...
Stella Witch

p.s. I would like to thank Mary of Keep Learning Keep Smiling for introducing me to the majesty potato;)

  1. I love Halloween! And maybe, just maybe I can become a Brussels sprouts semi-convert. Honestly Stella, your look very appealing. :-)

Congratulations on the start of a new job! I hope it's one that makes you happy.

  2. Hello Deary!

Just left a message over at Urbanite. Congrats on your recipe being featured on there. I love this dish, Stella! I can definitely do w/o meat with this one. I've never tried majesty potatoes though and don't even know if they sell this where I live. You know, I was never a huge fan of brussels sprouts. Just recently I tried roasting them with a recipe I found and absolutely loved them. Since then I have been looking for other great brussels sprouts recipes. Yours sounds delicious and I'd love to try it next time I have brussels sprouts. Thanks for sharing this, Stella!

Congrats on your new job, dear! Hope everything goes well for you and you get into the hang of things with no problems. Have a very happy Halloween! I'll bet I know what you're going to be ;-)

I have learned to like Brussels sprouts in the past few years, but I have yet to convince my boyfriend. I might have to try and see if your recipe would work its magic on him. ;)

  42. Oh, we love Brussels sprouts! My hubby still laughs at the idea that he asks for Brussels sprouts. He was one of those super picky eaters as a kid and would never touch anything resembling a veggie. Now he eats these and guacamole, etc. He still turns his nose to the green bean. Oh well, we can't win them all. Great post and congrats on your new job! Yeah!

  43. I left a comment over there - how exciting to be featured there! :)

Thanks for your lovely comment and I hope you don't get sick (hopefully sisters just get their siblings sick and not their siblings' spouses :P)!
